Thank you for visiting the York Bird of Prey Centre's website. Here you will find details of the Centre and the birds who reside there. You can also now follow our birds on Twitter: @EclipseYbop
The office & Centre are open 10.30am - 5.00pm (closed on a Tuesday). Don't forget that vouchers are available for the various courses we provide which can now be purchased online here.
New fun to be had at the Centre. We now have fun activities for the kids to keep them entertained throughout the day if they wish to take a break from the birds, and don't forget to keep an eye on our news page for future exciting events:
Thanks to everyone who has placed a review on Trip Advisor making us currently No. 1 attraction in North Yorkshire.
At the Centre we have a passion for the birds and ensuring our human visitors have a great time. We have a hands on ethos which is second to none (we are not aware of any other Centre which gives you this), and you are welcome to handle the birds with the assistance of a member of our staff. Please also join in with flying the birds during the 2 flying shows we have each day at 1.30pm & 3.30pm (Times may be subject to change slightly due to bird welfare).
In our shop you will find a wide selection of sandwiches, cakes, soft drinks, ice creams, ice lollies and also tea & coffee, so stay for the day and enjoy all the Centre has to offer.
The Centre is located 4 miles south of Easingwold & 12 miles north of York in the walled garden of The Tulip Inn (Burn Hall). Please park in the Hotel car park and then follow the signs down the path to the Centre.
Please note that smoking is not allowed in the Centre.
