Thank you for visiting the York Bird of Prey Centre's website. Here you will find details of the Centre and the birds who reside there.
The Centre is now closed for the season except for private bookings. Don't forget to order your gift vouchers for next year from the office.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all our visitors during 2013 and for the fantastic comments made on Trip advisor. We have made some great new friends throughout the year, and we hope you see you all again in 2014 where you will be able to meet some new arrivals as the Centre. Keep an eye on the website for details of opening times for 2014
In the meantime we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
At the Centre we have a passion for the birds and ensuring our human visitors have a great time. We have a hands on ethos which is second to none (we are not aware of any other Centre which gives you this), and you are welcome to handle the birds with the assistance of a member of our staff. Please also join in with flying the birds during the 2 flying shows we have each day at 1.30pm & 3.30pm.
In our shop you will find a wide selection of sandwiches, cakes, soft drinks, ice creams, ice lollies and also tea & coffee, so stay for the day and enjoy all the Centre has to offer.
The Centre is located 4 miles south of Easingwold & 12 miles north of York in the walled garden of The Tulip Inn (Burn Hall).
Please note that smoking is not allowed in the Centre.
