Thank you for visiting the York Bird of Prey Centre's website. Here you will find details of the Centre and the birds who reside there.
The Centre is currnetly closed for the winter period, although the office is open 11.00am - 5.00pm (closed on a Tuesday). The Centre will reopen for 2014 on Saturday 15th March. Don't forget though that vouchers are still available for the various courses we provide.
At the Centre we have a passion for the birds and ensuring our human visitors have a great time. We have a hands on ethos which is second to none (we are not aware of any other Centre which gives you this), and you are welcome to handle the birds with the assistance of a member of our staff. Please also join in with flying the birds during the 2 flying shows we have each day at 1.30pm & 3.30pm.
In our shop you will find a wide selection of sandwiches, cakes, soft drinks, ice creams, ice lollies and also tea & coffee, so stay for the day and enjoy all the Centre has to offer.
The Centre is located 4 miles south of Easingwold & 12 miles north of York in the walled garden of The Tulip Inn (Burn Hall). Please park in the Hotel car park and then follow the signs down the path to the Centre.
Please note that smoking is not allowed in the Centre.
